In 2006, SABORMEX implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as the companywide transactional system supporting its Mexico consumer packaged goods operations. The deployment focused on ERP Financial capabilities, positioning SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as the primary platform for financial accounting and core transactional processes.
SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to cover standard financial modules and workflows, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting and cost controlling, aligned to the ERP Financial use case. The implementation also included SAP BASIS administration and ongoing technical operations to support system refreshes, performance tuning, monitoring and SAP user security within the ECC6 landscape.
The SAP landscape for SABORMEX was populated with adjacent SAP components, including BW, CRM, NW-JAVA, NW-BPC, NW-PI, Solution Manager and BusinessObjects, enabling integrated reporting and cross-application scenarios. A heterogeneous migration project is documented for the ECC6 installation, moving systems between HP-UX with Oracle 10 and AIX with Oracle 11, reflecting OS and database level replatforming activity during lifecycle operations.
Techpeople served as the implementation and technical support partner, with documented SAP BASIS engagement and consulting activity between October 2012 and July 2015. Their responsibilities included SAP technical support for ECC6 and related components, system refreshes, disaster recovery and backup and restore testing using BR*TOOLS, plus end user support and ongoing monitoring for the SABORMEX ECC6 environment.

In 2011, SABORMEX implemented IBM AIX as its enterprise operating system, recorded as Operating System (OS). The deployment established IBM AIX as the platform layer for hosting the company SAP landscape during a targeted platform migration.
The IBM AIX implementation supported a heterogeneous migration of SAP ECC6 from HP-UX and Oracle 10 to AIX and Oracle 11, with the database tier upgraded to Oracle 11. Configuration work focused on SAP BASIS alignment with the new OS, platform-level tuning, and stabilization of ECC6 application services on AIX.
System integrator Techpeople provided SAP BASIS consulting and technical support during the SAP platform transition, coordinating OS provisioning with SAP operational workflows. The architecture tied IBM AIX to the Oracle 11 database and the SAP application tier, creating an AIX hosted application topology for SAP ECC6.
Governance followed a coordinated cutover and handover model, moving responsibility to SAP BASIS and DBA teams for ongoing monitoring, backups and system maintenance. The documented IBM AIX configuration became the foundational Operating System (OS) platform for SABORMEX SAP operations.
