In 2019, Samson Manufacturing implemented Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) to centralize its field operations on a single cloud platform. The deployment targeted Field Service Management requirements and was executed with NeuraFlash as the implementation partner.
The implementation configured Salesforce Field Service Lightning as the operational core and incorporated product areas including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform, Community Cloud, Master - Field Service Lightning, and Einstein Analytics. Functional capabilities implemented include work order management, scheduling and dispatch, mobile technician workflows, service contracts and entitlement handling, and configuration of service queues and dispatcher consoles.
Architecturally the solution was delivered within a cloud-native Salesforce org, leveraging the Field Service Lightning managed components for dispatch and mobile, Platform customization for service objects and business rules, Community Cloud to expose customer-facing portals, and Einstein Analytics for operational reporting. Integration points established include case to work order lifecycle orchestration with Service Cloud and service to sales handoff with Sales Cloud, while Platform components supported custom data models and automation.
NeuraFlash led a phased rollout and governance buildout, configuring technician profiles, permissions, data ownership rules, and dispatcher workflows, while providing configuration handover and user enablement for service and sales teams. The implementation concentrated on operationalizing field technician execution and formalizing service workflows within Samson Manufacturing’s service organization.
