Viewpoint Construction In-House ERP Viewpoint Spectrum Construction ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Sauer Holdings implemented Viewpoint Spectrum as its Construction ERP to replace a home-grown in-house ERP across eight operating units in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida. The implementation covered Sauer's general construction and mechanical contracting operations, including shop fabrication and building maintenance, and supported projects in both public, including federal, and private sectors. The Viewpoint Spectrum deployment included full financial and project accounting modules, specifically General Ledger, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll for union and non-union workforces, Human Resources, Job Cost, Project Management, Customer Billing, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Document Imaging, and Dashboard and BI reporting. Workstreams centered on application configuration and customization, data conversion, scripted and integrated testing, issue management, procedure writing, and end user training, with reporting and dashboard design scoped into the delivery. Operational and technical integration work addressed business and technical interfaces between operating units and centralized Corporate Services, user security provisioning, and cloud hosting and web deployment to meet system availability and disaster recovery requirements. Responsibility for ERP cloud hosting, system availability and cyber security was retained by the implementation manager, and business and technical integration tasks included coordination of provider and consultant activities as part of go-live execution for the Construction ERP environment. Governance and program management were structured with executive sponsorship and an Executive Steering Committee, led by the implementation manager who guided C-level decision making, gap analysis and contract negotiation. The implementation manager negotiated software licensing and cloud hosting contracts securing terms for intellectual property protection, system availability, disaster recovery, support and maintenance, liability indemnification, discount and price protection, and influence on the vendor product roadmap. Project execution was managed as scope schedule budget risk and change management, with a 26-person team of functional leads and technical resources from operating units and Corporate Services coordinating configuration, testing, training and support. Non-ERP contributions included initiation of a network security plan addressing FAR and DFARS requirements for federal projects and evaluation of Enterprise File Sync and Share solutions to replace a network of file servers.

Bluebeam Legacy Bluebeam Revu Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, Sauer Holdings implemented Bluebeam Revu. Bluebeam Revu is categorized as Collaboration software and was inventoried and managed centrally by the company's primary IT technician as part of a company-wide software audit and ticketing program. Deployment consisted of Windows desktop rollouts across Windows XP and Windows 7 endpoints, with server-side support hosted on Windows Server 2008, 2010, and 2013 platforms. The Bluebeam Revu application was included in the BMC-Numara Track-It inventory and ticket system for license compliance and incident management, and deployments were administered alongside endpoint protection and backup systems managed via McAfee ePO and Code42 CrashPlan. Operational integrations centered on corporate identity and access controls, with user creation and security permissions for Bluebeam Revu governed through Active Directory and standard provisioning workflows. Bluebeam Revu was supported in an environment that also included Primavera P6, QCS/RMS, Autodesk products, Exchange and Office365, with IT providing desktop and remote support for job sites and branch offices covering connectivity, file access, network scanning and printing issues. Governance and process controls for Bluebeam Revu included company-wide audit participation, help desk documentation for procedures and software compliance, and ticket-driven administration through BMC-Numara Track-It. The IT team assisted with broader environment migrations from Windows XP to Windows 7 and Office365 adoption, embedding Bluebeam Revu support into existing server administration and user provisioning workflows.
