| Avature | Legacy | Avature CRM | Candidate Relationship Management | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Seagate Technology implemented Avature CRM as its Candidate Relationship Management platform, initiating a global modernization of recruitment and employee-facing portals. The program targeted careers website modernization and HR portal redesigns across 26 locales and 19 languages, with explicit attention to facility-worker populations who access services via kiosk terminals.
Avature CRM was configured to manage candidate lifecycle workflows, talent pipelining, and recruitment marketing, and it was integrated into a broader recruitment stack to support user-facing ATS experiences. The implementation included three careers website redesigns and four HR portal redesigns, with responsibility for defining requirements, coordinating design and configuration, and executing test plans and user acceptance testing.
Integrations were explicit and multi-system, the deployment interfaced with Jibe as the user-facing ATS, Oracle Social Sourcing for external talent discovery, and Workday for HRMS, ATS, and onboarding orchestration, while the Taleo ATS user-facing experience was rebranded as part of the program. The technical scope included migrating static careers content to robust dynamic solutions to enable ongoing content and workflow personalization.
Governance and rollout were organized around a central product and program owner who led rebranding efforts for HR, talent acquisition, and legal stakeholders, and who coordinated cross-functional UAT and configuration cycles. The team researched and presented findings to the Executive PMO on cost-saving and efficiency options, and managed design decisions to introduce trending UX and UI principles to both salaried employees and kiosk-limited facility workers.
Outcomes reported as part of the initiative included a 24 percent increase in careers website mobile usage, an increase in overall conversion rate from 56 percent to 89 percent, and a 148 percent increase in self-service HR portal usage, while UX and UI updates were extended to the employee population and kiosk users.
