The SAP HCM (HR) implementation covered standard Core HR capabilities, including personnel administration, organizational management, time and absence management, employee self service and HR reporting. Configuration work emphasized master data governance, security model design and process automation to support hiring, absence handling and internal mobility workflows.
The implementation was placed within Sibelga s SAP landscape and the migration from SAP ERP HCM to the SAP S/4HANA compatibility package has already taken place. HR master data and organizational structure were integrated into the wider ERP domain so HR records and organizational changes propagate to finance and procurement processes managed by the ERP team.
Operational governance and change control were centralized in the ERP team, a fifteen person group of project managers, functional analysts and developers inside DBS, with a dedicated Functional Analyst SAP HR role responsible for requirements gathering, functional analysis, test planning, quality assurance and incident resolution. Rollout and maintenance followed structured specification, testing and documentation practices to preserve solution continuity and to ensure clear handoffs between HR stakeholders and IT.
