SNP Glue functioned as the API Management layer for data movement, providing connector based ingestion, pipeline orchestration, and workload coordination to limit direct load on SAP transactional systems. Integrations in the program are explicitly SAP to Snowflake replication, with SNP Glue moving SAP dataset extracts into Snowflake to support global data and analytics and supply chain reporting. The operational scope was global analytics consumption, with pipelines feeding centralized Snowflake storage and downstream reporting workflows used across supply chain and analytics teams. Governance was established around scheduled pipeline runs and API driven ingestion controls to manage source system impact and data freshness. According to vendor event materials the deployment of SNP Glue reduced load on SAP source systems, lowered Snowflake processing costs, and reduced lead time to data for Smith+Nephew’s analytics platform.
