| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2013 | 2014 |
In 2013, Spire implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial application. The deployment established Oracle E-Business Suite as the core system supporting corporate finance and was managed by the enterprise databases and scheduled operations organization that provided tier 1 through 3 support and served as product owner for agile teams.
Oracle E-Business Suite was configured to support core ERP Financial functions such as general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, and was integrated into automation and scheduled operations frameworks developed by the team. The environment was operated on Oracle Applications and Oracle Middleware stacks, including Weblogic, and leveraged Oracle RAC and both Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases to support availability and application hosting.
Integrations explicitly supported alongside Oracle E-Business Suite included Oracle Business Intelligence OBI, Customer Care and Billing CCB, Maximo, PowerPlan, G4, Endur ETRM, Hyperion, WebSphere, and WebCenter, reflecting an enterprise orchestration between finance, billing, asset management, and trading systems. Operational coverage focused on finance and IT operations across Spire corporate sites, with the team coordinating upgrades, implementations, and integration efforts.
Governance activities centered on enforcing database security and developing standards, policies, and controls for applications and middleware, while implementing automation strategies and disaster recovery solutions. The team led application and database upgrades, managed IT audit and vendor relationships, and designed controls and procedures to sustain compliant, highly available operation of Oracle E-Business Suite.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2006 | 2006 |
In 2006, Spire implemented Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS as part of a broader Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3 rollout covering Finance, HR and Supply Chain. Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS was deployed to provide Core HR capabilities and to centralize human resources workflows alongside financial and procurement processes.
The implementation included EBS iModules with iRecruitment for talent acquisition, iProcurement for requisition and purchasing workflow, and iSupplier for supplier lifecycle touchpoints. The configuration encompassed Governance & Risk Control modules and integration points for Hyperion product suites and OBIEE to enable consolidated reporting and financial close orchestration.
The architecture design leveraged an F5 Load Balancer based reverse proxy with SSL termination, and Oracle Identity and Access Management to deliver Single Sign-On across OBIEE, Hyperion and the EBS stack. Infrastructure implementation and solution design focused on application tier orchestration, access control, and secure proxying to support enterprise authentication and analytics integration.
Operational scope spanned HR, Finance and Supply Chain business functions at Spire, with governance and workflow controls introduced through the Governance & Risk Control framework. The deployment narrative emphasizes platform-level design, module configuration and identity integration as core elements of the Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS implementation for Core HR.

| Broadcom | Legacy | AppWorx Workload Automation | Business Process Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Spire deployed Broadcom AppWorx Workload Automation to centralize enterprise job scheduling and orchestration. AppWorx Workload Automation, categorized as Business Process Management, was applied to coordinate batch and event driven workloads across Finance and Supply Chain processes supporting Oracle EBS R12.2.4.
The implementation focused on automating workloads that touch core financial modules including GL, AP, AR, Projects, Treasury and related procurement and inventory modules such as iProcurement, Purchasing and Inventory. AppWorx Workload Automation was used to sequence invoice approval workflows, requisition and change requisition flows, expense report processing and purchase order workflows, and to stabilize month end closing job windows through calendar based scheduling and dependency management.
Integrations were implemented to orchestrate work across a heterogeneous application landscape, connecting Oracle EBS with Hyperion, OBIEE, PowerPlan, ADP for payroll feeds, Oracle CCB, Maximo and SAP as documented in project artifacts. The implementation worked alongside middleware teams using SOA and UC4 systems to manage cross system handoffs, and AppWorx Workload Automation served as the central orchestrator for scheduled data loads, file transfers and event triggers across these systems.
Governance and operational support aligned with the Spire One program and ongoing production support and enhancements, with business requirement gathering, solution design, testing and coordination with DBA, technical and middleware teams. Operational ownership covered Finance, Treasury, Procurement, Payroll and Supply Chain functions across Spire operating units in Alabama, Mississippi and Missouri, and AppWorx Workload Automation was embedded into existing run books and change control processes to support automated production workflows.
