In 2011 Stanley Black & Decker implemented SAP Ariba Invoice to automate accounts payable workflows and standardize invoice submission within parts of Corporate Safety & Protective Services in New Britain, CT. The deployment targeted AP Automation for accounts payable, finance, and procurement functions, with Corporate Safety staff explicitly submitting invoices into Ariba as part of day-to-day operations.

Operational integrations explicitly referenced in the environment included SAP Concur for expense report flows and Iron Mountain for tape-based archival and records retrieval processes, with Corporate Safety & Protective Services maintaining monthly governance reviews and meeting minutes for process oversight. Invoice submission procedures were executed by on-site personnel who also managed vendor interactions and access controls, aligning SAP Ariba Invoice with established AP workflows and corporate review cadence.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Stanley Black & Decker implemented Workday Absence Management as part of a global Workday deployment, addressing Absence and Leave Management across its employee base. Workday Absence Management was deployed as a module within the companys Workday HCM footprint, aligning absence policy configuration and leave lifecycle capabilities with central HR policy and local statutory requirements.
The implementation was executed alongside core Workday modules that were explicitly selected for global HCM, including Core HR, Onboarding, Recruiting, Talent, Time Tracking, Learning, Advanced Compensation, Workforce Planning and Prism Analytics. Configuration work focused on standard absence and accrual rules, approval workflows and entitlement modeling consistent with Absence and Leave Management functional patterns, and alignment with the broader Workday security and tenant configuration.
Deployment occurred within a larger HRIT ecosystem that also included the selection and implementation of other HR and payroll solutions such as Kronos Cloud 8.1 for time solutions in North America, SuccessFactors for learning, Northgate Arinso for payroll in multiple European countries, and vendor solutions like Empyrean, Limeade, Comp XL, Percipio and MentorCliQ. The Workday Absence Management rollout was therefore positioned as part of interdependent HR services and global HR operations covering roughly 59,000 employees across 60 plus countries.
Governance and program leadership were managed by the Director of HR Systems and Strategy within Global IT, who led the HRIT team responsible for project delivery, vendor selection processes and annual planning. The program followed a centralized HRIT governance model that incorporated resource alignment, RFP completion and a multi year HRIT strategy, with the Workday Absence Management launch aligned to those governance and rollout processes.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) | Field Service Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2008 | 2008 |
In 2008 Stanley Black & Decker implemented Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) to support its Field Service Management requirements. The deployment focused on operational execution for Field Operations workforce deployment and the administrative activities that directly support technician scheduling and service delivery.
Oracle Field Service Cloud was configured to manage discrete functional modules including Adherence and Availability tracking, Incoming Call Management, ETA Go Back and ETA Direct flows, Technician Workload Management, and Outage Management with escalation management. Configuration emphasized ETA orchestration, technician assignment logic, workload balancing, and formalized call handling workflows consistent with Field Service Management functional terminology.
Operational coverage centered on Field Operations teams and supporting administrative groups, serving internal and external customers as part of route planning and day to day service execution. The implementation executed activities tied directly to workforce deployment and administrative control, aligning ETA and outage processes with technician workload and incoming call handling.
Governance assigned accountability to the RCC role for service performance and escalation handling, embedding outage management and escalation management into operational workflows. Change to processes targeted adherence and availability monitoring, with RCC oversight of Incoming Call Management and ETA Direct procedures to ensure consistent field execution.
