Bottomline Paymode-X AP Automation was configured to automate payment processing and remittance delivery, and to support supplier enrollment and payment routing through the Paymode-X network. The implementation emphasized invoice-to-pay sequencing common to AP Automation solutions, with orchestration of ACH, check and electronic Paymode-X payments and structured remittance data to reduce manual payment handling.
The implementation integrated with Oracle AP for payable records and accrual coordination, and operated under the governance of the Enterprise Services Accounts Payable Manager for the U.S. business. Operational controls were established around disbursements, expense reporting and month end closing activities to enforce policy and procedure compliance across AP functions.
