In 2015 Swiss Sense implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as an ERP Financial solution for its Netherlands based retail operations. The implementation was positioned to consolidate core financial and transactional systems for a company with approximately 1,050 employees, aligning the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 application with corporate finance and operational reporting needs.
The deployment included functional modules SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP WM and SAP FI, with database support on SAP HANA and a service layer provided by SAP Gateway. Integration architecture used SAP webservices to interface with Magento, PAAZL, Telecat and Slim4, and included explicit SAP REST API development for Salesforce CRM and Magento. The combination of SAP Gateway, webservices and REST APIs established a service oriented integration layer for e-commerce, shipping and replenishment systems, and for CRM synchronization between Salesforce and SAP ERP ECC 6.0.
Operational coverage extended across finance, supply chain, e-commerce and warehouse operations, with governance centered on API driven connectivity and centralized transaction processing inside SAP ERP ECC 6.0.
