The application was used to ensure payroll data reflected personnel records and company pay rules.
Operational ownership rested with HR and payroll functions, who performed personnel change entry, payroll balancing, and production payroll submission. Maintenance responsibilities included resolving system issues and ongoing upkeep of the Time and Attendance system.
Governance practices embedded in operational workflows required HR reviewers and payroll staff to validate pay in accordance with company policy and collective agreements, using UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper workflows to enforce those checks. The implementation focused on sustaining accurate time capture, personnel data entry, and reliable payroll processing.
