SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2008 2008
In 2008 The Estee Lauder Companies implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to centralize ERP Financial operations across procurement and finance functions. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation served as the transactional backbone for financial accounting and procurement record keeping. Configuration work emphasized procurement master data, outline agreement processing, and core financial accounting capabilities. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to support purchase order and outline agreement management together with accounts payable posting and financial master data alignment to support sourcing-to-pay workflows. For sourcing work an Ariba consultant was engaged to design and develop a CIG integration on the sourcing quote message to SAP ECC 6.0 outline agreement, mapping Ariba sourcing quote payloads into ECC outline agreement structures. The CIG integration mediated message transformation into SAP ECC inbound interfaces to automate creation or updates of outline agreements from sourcing quote events. This linkage connected sourcing workflows in Ariba with procurement transaction logic and financial posting in SAP ERP ECC 6.0. Operational scope covered procurement and finance teams who coordinated outline agreement governance and integration testing cycles. Rollout and governance focused on joint validation of sourcing-to-pay workflows, configuration governance owned by procurement process leads, and end to end testing of sourcing quote message flows into SAP ERP ECC 6.0.
