In 2025 The Flag Switzerland implemented Sweeply at THE FLAG Zurich to centralize housekeeping and cross-department task workflows, using the application as its Task Management platform to gain real time visibility into room status and operational handoffs. Sweeply was configured to surface room readiness, assign and track housekeeping tasks, and provide shift planners with an up to date operational view to coordinate staff across service periods.
The implementation emphasized operational workflow configuration rather than custom integrations, with Sweeply deployed to manage daily housekeeping cycles, task acceptance and completion workflows, and status flags used by front desk and housekeeping teams. Configuration work centered on task assignment rules and status-driven routing to reduce manual coordination and accelerate shift planning.
Operational scope remained focused on the Zurich property, covering housekeeping and adjacent service functions such as front desk coordination and maintenance notification through shared task queues and real time status updates. Rollout included adoption by on shift supervisors and housekeeping leads to consolidate task ownership and create a single source of truth for room status and outstanding work.
Governance and process changes included standardized task templates and shift planning routines enforced through the Sweeply application, with the hotel reporting faster shift planning, roughly eight hours per week saved on management tasks, and about an 80 percent reduction in related guest complaints after adoption.
