The implementation targeted the General Secretariat of the European Council and was executed with SI partner Plat4mation, with a Senior ServiceNow IRM Consultant serving as IRM Implementation Lead from October 2022 to December 2023. The ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) deployment focused on core IRM capabilities, specifically Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, and Audit Management. Configuration work included policy lifecycle management, structured risk registers and assessment campaigns, and audit scheduling and evidence collection workflows following RAPID IRM 30 implementation practices. Technically the solution was delivered on the ServiceNow platform, consolidating GRC records and automated workflows into platform-native tables and orchestration while maintaining a single source of truth for controls and risk scoring. The implementation scope covered Secretariat compliance and risk functions, establishing standardized assessment templates and centralized documentation for control owners and auditors. Governance and rollout were managed by Plat4mation with the IRM Implementation Lead coordinating configuration, testing and staged adoption across Secretariat teams from October 2022 through December 2023. Process changes emphasized formalized policy owner workflows, standardized risk assessment cadence, and audit workflow handoffs, enabling ongoing GRC operations within the ServiceNow environment.
