In 2014 Goldman Sachs deployed UKG Workforce Central Absence Manager (ex Kronos Workforce Absence Manager) as its Absence and Leave Management platform to centralize absence administration across HR and workforce operations. The implementation focused on employee absence tracking, accrual processing, and integrated time and attendance workflows to support workforce scheduling and compliance.
Configuration and consulting activities included requirement gathering, advisement of best practices, and configuration of Employee central core, Time and Attendance, and Position management. UKG Workforce Central Absence Manager was configured to map absence policies and accrual rules, establish timekeeper and attendance parameters, and enable automated processing for leave and accrual calculations.
Operational modules implemented and supported comprised Workforce Timekeeper, Accruals, Activities, Advanced Scheduler, forecasting, Attendance, and a Workforce Central upgrade. Interfacing and coordination were executed with business users, Kronos vendors, and internal developers to resolve configuration issues and support module integration within the Absence and Leave Management environment.
Governance and support procedures encompassed ongoing support activities for Time and attendance, Absence management and Accruals modules, change control for configuration updates, and structured handoffs between consultants and business user groups. The work operationalized absence workflows within HR and workforce management functions, with consultants providing continuous application support and troubleshooting.
