In 2018 The Innovation Group implemented Sage People (ex Fairsail) as its Core HR platform. The implementation consolidated employee master data for over 850 staff into Sage People and introduced an absence tracking capability intended to help HR Advisors manage high levels of absence.
The deployment of Sage People (ex Fairsail) focused on core HR workflows, including employee record management, absence tracking, probation management, production of contracts change and leaver documentation, and maintenance of letter templates to ensure consistent tone of voice. The HR Administrator role was reconfigured with new processes to improve productivity, and the system was used to support full payroll preparation activities in conjunction with payroll operations.
Operational coverage included HR Administrators and HR Advisors managing data and casework across the business, running HRIS and ancillary reports to compile monthly information packs, processing employment mortgage rental and visa reference requests, and supporting basic recruitment administration such as job posting CV screening and interview scheduling. The Sage People instance was maintained with associated audit and compliance processes and provided a self-service channel for managers and employees to access HR policies and transactional services.
The program migrated HR data from MHR iTrent HR into Sage People (ex Fairsail) and established SLA-driven inbox and document production workflows to standardize response times. Governance changes included regular reviews of templates and adherence to SLA targets for HR and recruitment inbox management, with ongoing system maintenance to uphold data accuracy and compliance.

In 2018, The Innovation Group implemented Tableau as its enterprise reporting platform to centralize operational analytics for contact centre functions. Tableau is deployed as the primary Analytics and BI application to deliver real-time monitoring, SLA reporting, and routine operational dashboards to internal stakeholders and external clients.
The implementation emphasized interactive workbook dashboards, scheduled extracts and live visualizations, and data blending for cross-source views. Tableau workbooks were used to surface contact metrics, daily performance reports and trend analyses, with configuration for role-based views and scheduled distribution to meet SLA deadlines.
Data integration explicitly included Avaya CMS as a source for contact centre metrics alongside internal MI feeds, supporting real-time monitoring workflows used by the Real Time Monitor role. Operational scope covered three contact centre departments including MotorCare and ERAC Hire, and dashboard outputs were used to orchestrate daily rotas for over 150 staff, in close coordination with MI analysts and operations managers.
Governance and process changes centered on embedding MI analyst review cycles into daily operations and enabling non-MI staff to run and distribute Tableau reports when MI headcount was constrained. Tableau reports were regularly sent to clients to demonstrate SLA performance and supported internal adherence to productivity and reporting deadlines.

Endpoint and identity integrations included rollout of Windows 10 PCs and laptops, implementation of Office 365, and the creation of a new Active Directory domain to support authentication and directory services for telephony and contact centre applications.
The programme was managed by an IT Readiness Programme Manager from October 2016 to March 2017, including management of the telephony Request for Proposal process and delivery from inception to completion. Operational scope covered two call centre sites and the contact centre business function, with governance focused on infrastructure commissioning, network integration and staged rollout of telephony and endpoints.
