Microsoft Legacy Microsoft 365 Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, The JTC Summit implemented Microsoft 365 as its Collaboration platform. The deployment is visible in the organization web footprint, where Microsoft 365 assets are referenced on the JTC website, and the implementation targets enterprise collaboration for a Singapore government agency with approximately 2000 employees. The Microsoft 365 deployment centered on core collaboration workloads including Exchange Online for email, SharePoint Online for content and intranet, Microsoft Teams for synchronous collaboration, and OneDrive for Business for personal file storage. Configurations include centralized tenant management, mailbox and site provisioning, and document libraries designed for cross department content sharing. These components enable content collaboration, communication workflows, file synchronization, and meeting and presence functionality aligned with the Collaboration category. Operational coverage spans corporate communications, knowledge management, and internal collaboration across business functions such as IT, HR, and program offices. Integration points are centered on Microsoft 365 native services, including tenant identity and access controls commonly provided by Azure Active Directory, and web based authentication flows that support the public site referencing Microsoft 365 assets. The deployment pattern supports both browser based access for external stakeholders and managed client access for internal users. Governance emphasis includes role based access control, SharePoint site taxonomy and retention policies managed through Microsoft 365 compliance capabilities, and Teams governance for channel and membership lifecycle. Administrative responsibilities align with an enterprise IT operations model for provisioning, policy enforcement, and security baseline management across the Collaboration estate. The JTC Summit Microsoft 365 implementation establishes a platform for centralized collaboration, content governance, and web integrated access.
