Oracle Oracle E-Business Suite Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management TMH Solutions 2021 2022
In 2021, Ohio BWC implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform, marking the agency move from Oracle E-Business Suite to a cloud-native financial system. The deployment targeted core financial management across the bureau, aligning accounting controls and procurement workflows to a single Oracle Cloud ERP instance to support centralized finance operations for the 1600-employee organization. The implementation configured standard ERP Financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and procurement, with emphasis on configuring cloud workflows and fiscal controls rather than on-premise customizations. Configuration work addressed chart of accounts alignment, invoice processing automation, and month-end close orchestration using Oracle Cloud ERP capabilities to standardize processes previously executed in the prior environment. Data migration and cutover planning moved transactional and master data from Oracle E-Business Suite into Oracle Cloud ERP, preserving supplier and accounting histories while validating balances through reconciliation testing. TMH Solutions served as the implementation partner, coordinating closely with Ohio BWC internal teams and Application Architect Lee Marxen to manage data validation, cutover sequencing, and technical configuration tasks. Project governance established combined IT and finance oversight, with Ohio BWC application architecture leadership driving configuration standards, test plans, and change control for financial processes. Rollout emphasized procedural standardization and role-based access aligned to existing fiscal controls while consolidating financial operations onto Oracle Cloud ERP.
