Heartland, a Global Payments Company Legacy Heartland Payroll Payroll HCM n/a 2003 2003
In 2003, The Social Order began using Heartland Payroll, deploying Heartland Payroll to support its Payroll needs and onboarding and hiring capabilities across its multi-concept restaurant group. The initial implementation targeted payroll and HR operations in Oklahoma United States and was designed to create a scalable payroll and hiring system for multiple restaurant concepts. Configuration emphasized core Payroll workflows, including payroll calculation, employee onboarding and hiring data capture, and centralized employee records to remove manual data re-entry. The Social Order implemented the onboarding and hiring capabilities to standardize new hire information and provide consistent payroll inputs across sites. Operationally the deployment decentralized payroll execution to location general managers while retaining centralized data and administrative oversight in Heartland Payroll, enabling site level ownership of payroll tasks. The operational coverage focused on restaurants in Oklahoma United States and aligned day to day payroll and HR processes with multi-location compliance requirements. Governance and process changes included shifting transactional payroll responsibilities to location general managers and standardizing onboarding workflows to improve data quality, with central administrators maintaining oversight and support. The implementation delivered improved efficiency, improved visibility and support for growth and multi-location compliance as documented.
