Google Legacy Google Pay Payment Processing ERP n/a 2021 2021
In 2021, The Step2 Company implemented Google Pay on its website to add a digital wallet option to its online checkout. The deployment integrates Google Pay into the company Payment Processing layer to enable tokenized card acceptance and to present Google Pay as a checkout instrument alongside existing card entry. Implementation emphasis reflects e-commerce payment capture for a small manufacturing retailer, aligning front-end payment controls with standard digital wallet flows. The technical footprint centers on client-side Google Pay API integration within the site checkout and server-side acceptance of Google Pay tokens for onward authorization by the merchant payment processor. Operational ownership sits with the e-commerce and finance functions, with checkout workflow and payment reconciliation processes adjusted to accept tokenized instruments from Google Pay. Google Pay is therefore the primary named application implemented for Payment Processing on the Step2 website.

ADP Legacy ADP Enterprise eTIME (OEM Kronos Workforce Central) Time and Attendance HCM n/a 2010 2010
In 2010 The Step2 Company implemented ADP Enterprise eTIME (OEM Kronos Workforce Central) to modernize Time and Attendance for the organization. The deployment converted manual paper timecards for over 900 employees to ADP Enterprise eTIME and introduced electronic time capture and badge-based identification for time clock entry. The implementation focused on configuring ADP Enterprise eTIME to enforce centralized employee timekeeping workflows, badge authentication for clock-in and clock-out, and automated capture of hours for downstream processing. Configuration work emphasized standardizing timekeeping rules and validation to reduce manual reconciliation, aligning system behavior with HR and payroll practices. Integrations and data flows included converting GL activity previously managed in Excel into the Expandable ERP system to align financial postings with time data, and gathering functional requirements to support a build for Hyperion Financial Management System. The rollout also integrated physical badge hardware with the time clocks, enabling identification and enhanced security at point of entry. Governance and process change were led by a singular program owner who defined and delivered training to all employees on the new timekeeping system, and who documented functional requirements for finance reporting. The project restructured day-to-day time capture from manual to electronic processes and established operational ownership across HR, payroll, and accounting to sustain ongoing timekeeping governance. Operational support included hands-on assistance to the CFO and accounting team for budgeting and reporting requests, and ongoing support for timekeeping queries during the transition to ADP Enterprise eTIME. The Step2 Company retained ADP Enterprise eTIME as the central Time and Attendance application to serve time capture, identity verification, and financial reconciliation workflows.
