In 2018 Thule Group implemented InfraSight Labs vScope to consolidate its IT infrastructure documentation and asset visibility, using InfraSight Labs vScope within the Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management category. The deployment was positioned as a central repository for global IT operations, enabling cross‑site access to a single point of visibility for hardware, software and SaaS inventory across Sweden and other country sites mentioned by the customer.
InfraSight Labs vScope was configured to centralize documentation, automated reporting, and inventory reconciliation workflows, covering hardware asset tracking, software license assignments, SaaS spend visibility, and endpoint state such as antivirus versions and laptop records. The platform provided self-service report generation for management and operations, removing manual compilation of spreadsheets and reducing the need to sign in to multiple vendor portals for routine queries.
Operational integrations and data sources explicitly surfaced in the deployment include Active Directory, cloud environments, Adobe tenancy data, billing statements, and license management records, all consolidated into vScope for unified reporting. This cross-source consolidation enabled shared insights across distributed teams in different time zones and supported both in-house and cloud asset visibility without requiring separate access to each underlying UI.
Governance shifted from fragmented, ownerless spreadsheets to a centrally governed documentation model where insights are shared and accessible to management and IT operations. Outcomes cited by the Global IT Director include improved decision making, improved communication, more agile processes, self-sufficiency in report retrieval, and an improved end-user experience as a result of having a single point of visibility through InfraSight Labs vScope.
