The implementation incorporated production and shop floor functionality to advance jobs automatically and to maintain traceability through serialized and batch production flows, supporting accurate invoicing preparation. Lineacomputer srl delivered the solution and developed a custom application that integrates machine data with Mexal, streaming machine signals into Passepartout Mexal Production for automatic production advancement and real time WIP status updates. Operational coverage focused on the Nichelino shop floor, connecting CNC and cellular equipment to the ERP production layer so production orders and WIP are updated directly from machine events. Governance work included standardizing production sequencing and workflows to ensure traceability from work order through final costing and invoicing, with Lineacomputer responsible for the machine integration app and support. The deployment improved production traceability and invoicing accuracy as described in the partner case study.
