Tungsten Automation Legacy Kofax AP Agility AP Automation ERP n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions implemented Kofax AP Agility to support AP Automation within a coordinated Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3 program. The deployment tied Kofax AP Agility to a broader procure to pay modernization effort, aligning accounts payable capture and workflow orchestration with core ERP transaction processing. The implementation covered Oracle E-Business Suite modules including Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Bill of Materials, Advance Pricing, Shipping, i-Procurement, and i-Supplier, with explicit functional ownership of Inventory, Purchasing, Advance Pricing, Shipping, i-Procurement, and i-Supplier flows. Kofax MarkView document imaging and Kofax Markview SignDoc were configured for invoice capture and document signature use cases, and Kofax Analytics for Capture was used to support extraction and validation as part of Kofax AP Agility driven AP processing. Integrations were implemented to exchange procurement and logistics documents, including inbound purchase order formats POI 850, purchase order change POCI 860, inbound invoice INI 810, advanced ship notice ASNI 856, and shipping and billing notice SBNI 857. A Trading Partner Link to an e-Commerce Gateway was set up for partner connectivity, and functional design of conversion and integration programs was completed to map inbound feeds into Oracle transaction structures. Governance and rollout activities followed a structured SDLC, with Joint Application Design sessions, Conference Room Pilots, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing used to validate procure to pay scenarios. Deliverables produced included Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specification Documents, Data Mapping Documents, and Functional Testing Documents, and the team executed data mapping and conversions for items, purchase orders, on-hand quantities, costs, and categories. The Procure to Pay Functional Lead based in Cary, North Carolina managed end user training, on the job enablement, and resolution of CRP, SIT, and UAT issues across distribution and manufacturing tracks. The engagement included AS-IS business process analysis, TO-BE process design using standard Oracle functionality, and the design of a customer return process integrated into inventory and shipping workflows.

In 2016, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions implemented Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) as its Field Service Management platform.
