In 2023, Toyota India deployed Rapl AI as its Workforce Management application to upskill frontline employees across its retail network. The deployment targeted product knowledge, standard operating procedures and sales techniques for sales and aftersales staff.
Rapl AI implementation combined Rapl microlearning modules and an AI assistant to deliver bite sized training, on demand knowledge retrieval and scenario based coaching for sales consultants and service technicians. Configuration emphasized role based content, assessment workflows and a continuous microlearning cadence to reinforce SOP adherence and sales process standardization.
The rollout covered 250 Toyota dealerships in India and trained over 3,000 sales and aftersales staff, positioning Rapl AI as a frontline enablement platform embedded into daily sales and service workflows. Operational ownership was maintained by Toyota India HR and L&D teams who managed content curation, user provisioning and staged dealer rollouts.
Governance focused on standardized content approval, assessment pass thresholds and dealer level reporting to sustain consistency across sites. The case study reports outcomes of a 70% reduction in training costs, a 30% reduction in knowledge gaps and a 45% reduction in training hours.
