The Bolero Galileo Platform, classified as a Blockchain Platform, delivered Bolero's Galileo eBL solution to enable electronic bill of lading workflows and electronic presentation capabilities within TradeFlow's existing trade processing fabric. The implementation focused on embedding the Galileo eBL solution into TradeFlow's transaction lifecycle, configuring electronic bill of lading issuance, transfer and presentation processes that align with trade finance workflows. The deployment emphasized document orchestration and tamper-evident record keeping consistent with Blockchain Platform capabilities, and was instrumented to support faster electronic presentations to financial counterparties. Operational integrations explicitly connected TradeFlow's commodity trade platform to banks and carriers to streamline document exchange and acceptance, supporting fund-backed trade operations across the Asia region and among SME counterparties. Governance and process changes concentrated on standardising electronic presentation procedures and onboarding counterparties to eBL processes, enabling a consistent trade finance workflow between trading counterparties, carriers and sponsoring banks. The integrated Bolero Galileo Platform improved connectivity with banks and carriers and helped TradeFlow speed up electronic presentations while supporting its fund-backed trade operations, aligning the Blockchain Platform deployment with core trade finance and commodities business functions. |
