| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2014 | 2015 |
In 2014, Treasury Wine Estates implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its core ERP Financial platform. This decision followed a major AU$130 million inventory write down and executive turnover, driving a consolidation and cost reduction mandate for IT.
Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne was configured to centralize transactional finance, inventory management, and viticulture data capture, recording vineyard measurements such as grape sugar content and expected harvest dates alongside production and allocation workflows. The implementation emphasized standardized configuration and a large business intelligence platform to provide consolidated reporting and operational analytics rather than bespoke, siloed systems.
From an architecture and deployment perspective, TWE engaged Red Rock to deliver Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as an ERP as a service offering that covered infrastructure through software delivery, and the program decommissioned six ERPs, four warehouse management systems, and approximately 25 ancillary systems. The EnterpriseOne deployment was integrated with mobile field data collection, Internet of Things sensors in vineyards, the BI layer and standardized market data feeds, with Salesforce also connected into the consolidated platform.
Governance and operating model changes accompanied the technical rollout, shifting IT staffing away from hands on infrastructure tasks toward business engagement and platform enablement, and instituting standardized processes across finance and operations. As part of the program Treasury Wine Estates wrote off over AU$100 million of IT infrastructure, reduced IT costs by about 50 percent, and reduced headcount by about 30 percent while establishing capacity to invest in best practice solutions on the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP Financial platform.

| Oracle | Ascender Preceda | Oracle Cloud HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Treasury Wine Estates implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as its Core HR system, replacing Ascender Preceda. The implementation targeted global HR operations across ANZ, Asia, UK/Europe, and the US, with the objective of centralizing employee records and standardizing HR process orchestration.
The deployment configured Oracle Cloud HCM modules aligned to Core HR and recruiting workflows, with configuration work encompassing data model design, role based access controls, and end to end HR process testing. Project delivery used a mix of Waterfall and Agile approaches to manage module configuration, testing, and staged releases.
Explicit integrations were executed during the rollout, including an API integration between XRef online reference checking and Oracle Recruiting Cloud, and a separate integration between Oracle Cloud HCM and Whispir for crisis communications. Oracle Cloud HCM operated within a broader HR and communications application estate that included UKG Dimensions, ServiceNow, and Workplace by Facebook, enabling coordinated BAU support and cross system dependency management. The program also included launching Workplace by Facebook as the enterprise digital communication platform.
Governance and operational changes accompanied the technical work, with discovery workshops to capture fit for purpose requirements, day to day user escalation management in the BAU environment, and the implementation of the TWE New Operating Model as part of an organizational restructure. Explicit outcomes recorded in the implementation included the XRef integration with Oracle Recruiting Cloud, the Oracle HCM integration with Whispir, the Workplace by Facebook launch, and the implementation of Asia leave policies and employee self service capability in UKG Dimensions. Ongoing support and maintenance responsibilities for Oracle Cloud HCM were established as part of the HR application governance model.

| Egencia LLC | Legacy | Egencia | Travel Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Treasury Wine Estates implemented Egencia as its Travel Management solution. The deployment centralized travel and accommodation booking workflows for Supply Leadership Team members and their administrative support, consolidating online booking, itinerary management, and policy enforcement in Egencia.
Egencia was configured to support policy-based booking controls and approval routing, enabling Team Assistants to coordinate travel and calendar scheduling within Treasury Wine Estates travel policy. Functional capabilities referenced in the role include online booking and itinerary management through Egencia, calendar management and room bookings, and adherence to Delegated Authority Approval Routes for approvals and sign off.
Operational integrations and system touchpoints are explicit in job documentation, with Egencia bookings linked into monthly expense reconciliation workflows in Fraedom and procurement payment flows in JDE. Administrative coordination is managed alongside SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams document management, and Team Assistants act as the operational layer for booking coordination and supplier setup in support of the Supply function, with local administrative coverage noted in Melbourne CBD and inner suburbs.
Governance for the Egencia deployment is framed by Treasury Wine Estates Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, including Travel and Entertainment rules and Delegated Authority limits. Team Assistants are tasked with ensuring compliance, raising issues to Treasury Business Services and supporting proces improvement and approval route changes, embedding Egencia into existing approval and expense reconciliation workflows.
