From an architecture and deployment perspective, TWE engaged Red Rock to deliver Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as an ERP as a service offering that covered infrastructure through software delivery, and the program decommissioned six ERPs, four warehouse management systems, and approximately 25 ancillary systems. The EnterpriseOne deployment was integrated with mobile field data collection, Internet of Things sensors in vineyards, the BI layer and standardized market data feeds, with Salesforce also connected into the consolidated platform.
Governance and operating model changes accompanied the technical rollout, shifting IT staffing away from hands on infrastructure tasks toward business engagement and platform enablement, and instituting standardized processes across finance and operations. Explicit outcomes recorded in the implementation included the XRef integration with Oracle Recruiting Cloud, the Oracle HCM integration with Whispir, the Workplace by Facebook launch, and the implementation of Asia leave policies and employee self service capability in UKG Dimensions.
