| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2005 | 2005 |
In 2005, Under Armour implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to establish core financial and enterprise resource planning capabilities. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment served as the foundation of an ERP Financial architecture overseen by the companys first CIO, who built the IT organization and processes to support rapid growth and a global rollout of production, distribution and retail stores.
Implementation work centered on configuring SAP ERP ECC 6.0 for core finance and operational workflows typical of ERP Financial systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, controlling, order-to-cash and procure-to-pay orchestration. The program integrated SAP AFS to support apparel industry master data and order processes, and leveraged SAP BW and HANA for reporting and analytics while aligning transactional processing in ECC.
The ECC environment was integrated into a broader enterprise stack that included SuccessFactors for HR, Concur for expenses, Dassault MatrixOne for product data management, Manhattan Associates for distribution systems, Retail Pro for point-of-sale operations and Logility for planning. This integration footprint supported every business function from product lifecycle and planning through distribution and retail execution, and was part of a coordinated global rollout across production, distribution and store sites.
Governance and operating model changes were driven by the CIOs establishment of a centralized systems architecture and a dedicated IT team of SAP and systems specialists. Those organizational and architectural investments are documented as supporting Under Armours growth from approximately 180 million in private revenue to over 3 billion as a public company, while enabling the enterprise rollout of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and the surrounding application ecosystem.

| Sterling Talent Solutions | Legacy | Sterling Background Check | BackGround Screening | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Under Armour implemented Sterling Background Check as its BackGround Screening application to support retail hiring and onboarding workflows. The deployment focused on store hiring operations, where store managers and HR used Sterling Background Check to execute candidate screening activities for retail roles, with examples noted at locations such as White Plains, NY.
The Sterling Background Check configuration encompassed standard BackGround Screening capabilities including identity verification, criminal record searches, employment and education verifications, and configurable screening workflows to align with retail hiring policies. The application operated alongside ATS and ADP based recruiting and onboarding processes, with Sterling Talent Solutions delivering the screening services and providing screening status updates to recruiters and hiring managers.
Governance and process changes consolidated candidate screening into established recruiting and onboarding workflows, with store managers initiating background checks and HR monitoring clearances prior to training and full onboarding. The implementation narrative emphasizes operational integration with recruiting, onboarding, and in‑store training processes rather than enterprise rollout metrics or quantified outcomes.

| Adobe Systems | Legacy | Adobe WorkFront | Business Process Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Under Armour deployed Adobe WorkFront as a Business Process Management capability to centralize and orchestrate creative project workflows across marketing, product development, customer service, retail and wholesale partner channels. The Adobe WorkFront implementation was positioned to link creative briefs, project tasks, and DAM ingestion points so that asset production and distribution were controlled from a single BPM layer.
Adobe WorkFront was configured to manage project planning, task and approval flows, and to surface creative brief metadata for automatic mapping into asset records. The implementation included automated tagging triggers that annotate assets as they are added to projects, and project level controls to manage asset check out and lifecycle states while work is in progress.
The WorkFront deployment is integrated with Adobe Experience Manager Assets, the company master data management system via API for product attribute enrichment, federated identity tied to Active Directory for single sign on, Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries for in-tool collaboration, and the Asset Share Commons portal for external partner distribution. Integration points explicitly link WorkFront metadata to AEM asset records so campaign names, brand channels, and material codes flow from project tasks into the DAM.
Governance was restructured using an agile delivery approach, with recurring delivery cycles and stakeholder touchpoints to refine tagging, folder templates, and workflow automation. The program established a centralized tagging taxonomy and mapping rules so creative teams apply minimal manual metadata, and the organization reused development assets and workflows to accelerate subsequent launches.
Outcomes reported in the implementation include making creative assets easier to find for internal users and wholesale partners, automated tagging that reduced manual processes, savings of 4 hours per user through easier license management covering more than 1,000 users, reduction in storage costs by limiting duplicate files and workflows, and more than a twofold increase in daily active users and monthly asset downloads from the Asset Sharing Portal.
