Operational coverage is university wide for finance functions, with the Finance Office and its team of finance professionals handling daily processing and helpdesk support for AGRESSO. The implementation narrative centers on financial operations and decision support, enabling collaboration between finance staff and senior leadership to inform budgeting and financial strategy without specifying external system integrations.
Governance and operating model changes accompany the implementation through the planned appointment of a Director of Finance Operations reporting to the Chief Financial and Operating Officer. The Director of Finance Operations is charged with oversight of AP, payroll, AR, student fees, the Financial Management System Agresso and the AGRESSO Helpdesk, authority over Finance Operations to align processes with corporate strategy and best practices, and responsibility for identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and automate manual processes.
