In 2016, Uconn Health deployed AssetWorks Asset Performance Assessment to support Asset Performance Management across the health system. The AssetWorks Asset Performance Assessment implementation was provisioned into Production, STAGE, and TEST environments to create a controlled release cadence for configuration and validation prior to user rollouts.
Configuration work focused on core Asset Performance Management capabilities, including consolidated asset inventory and condition assessment, lifecycle tracking, risk based maintenance prioritization, and work order orchestration. AssetWorks Asset Performance Assessment was configured to enable standard maintenance planning and asset health scoring workflows, and to expose data for downstream analytics and reporting.
The implementation integrated with existing UConn systems that are explicitly listed in the deployment environment, including single sign on connectivity to AiM UConn Production, AiM UConn Go Production, and corresponding STAGE and TEST instances. Financial and procurement touch points were linked through Unifier Production and HuskyBuy PRODUCTION and TEST, while operational issue tracking and knowledge management use UConn JIRA and UConn Confluence. Support and vendor resources were routed to AssetWorks KnowledgeBase and AssetWorks Customer Care, with an established Submit Application Support Request pathway, and training media was available via Kaltura at UConn.
Governance and operational ownership were structured around staged environments and centralized authentication, with JIRA used for ticketing and Confluence for runbooks and implementation documentation. Accounting Office connectivity and procurement links indicate cross functional workflows between asset management, finance, and procurement teams, and support channels were formalized through AssetWorks support resources and UConn internal tooling.
