Oracle E-Business Suite was configured to deliver core Financials and Procurement modules, with configuration work focused on ledger management, supplier and procurement lifecycle workflows, and transactional financial controls consistent with ERP Financial functionality. The Oracle E-Business Suite implementation was provisioned to support finance and procurement business functions across the authority.
The implementation integrated with a broad enterprise application portfolio explicitly including PROPworks for billing, Chrome River for expenses, Maximo for maintenance and inventory operations, SAP SuccessFactors for HRIS, Kronos, Taleo, Cornerstone, Ceridian Payroll, SharePoint, Adobe Sign, Qlikview for business intelligence, and the airport’s parking, commercial vehicle management, remote stand operations and legal software. These integrations connected financial transactions, expense and billing data, and master data between Oracle E-Business Suite and the specialized systems.
Operational ownership was held within Technology Services Enterprise Applications under a manager responsible for the application portfolio, supporting business unit leaders in finance, procurement, maintenance, HR, payroll and operations. Governance emphasized centralized application stewardship, coordinated configuration and rollout across the airport authority, and integration stewardship to align Oracle E-Business Suite with existing billing, expense and maintenance systems.

In 2014 Vancouver International Airport implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR system to centralize HR master data and support HR and business unit leaders across the Vancouver Airport Authority. The deployment positioned SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the authoritative HRIS for employee records, organizational management, position and job structures, and core HR transactions for a workforce of roughly 880 employees.
The implementation leveraged standard Core HR capabilities of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central including centralized employee master data, organizational hierarchy modeling, position management, and workflow-driven HR transactions for hires, transfers, and terminations. The solution was consumed as a cloud HRIS and configured to support HR operational workflows and integration points typical for airport operations and corporate support functions.
Operationally the Technology Services Enterprise Applications team led configuration and day to day administration, aligning the SuccessFactors deployment with adjacent enterprise systems that the team managed. Integrations and data flows were established with payroll and timekeeping, recruitment and learning systems, finance and expense platforms, document signing, and business intelligence tooling as part of an integrated HR to Finance and operational data landscape. The implementation supported HR, payroll, talent acquisition, learning, finance, and reporting workflows while centralizing core employee data governance within Technology Services.
