ADP Legacy ADP Workforce Now Core HR HCM n/a 2012 2013
In 2012, Velcro USA Inc. implemented ADP Workforce Now for Core HR. ADP Workforce Now served as the central Core HR and payroll platform for US payrolls, consolidating payroll processing, employee records, and time and attendance coordination across the manufacturing operations. The deployment focused on payroll modules and HRIS capabilities, including processing weekly and semi-monthly payrolls, sales commission and bonus payments, generation and distribution of paychecks, maintenance of earning records, and administration of deductions for HSA, supplemental insurance, home and auto insurance, and 401k. ADP Workforce Now was configured to produce month-end closing reports, reconcile payroll general ledger accounts monthly, and generate verification reports used for mortgage, worker’s compensation, and unemployment inquiries. Integration and operational coverage included a direct operational relationship with ADP E-time Enterprise for time and attendance administration, with Enterprise Etime used for time capture, pre-audit of time clock data, supervisor approvals, and time-off balance calculations. The implementation supported structured file and report transmissions to internal customers and external vendors, and established workflows between payroll, HR, finance, supervisors, and individual employees to manage funding information and statutory reporting obligations at federal, state, and local levels. Governance and operational controls emphasized pre-audit and reconciliation steps, auditing of employee information and pay data for regulatory compliance, documented work procedures, and training. A named administrator role for Enterprise Etime trained new hires and served as a continuity resource, with payroll administration responsibilities delegated to trained staff during manager absence, and ongoing process improvement to expedite payroll workflows.
