| FIS Global | Legacy | FIS GETPAID | AR Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012 Verifone deployed FIS GETPAID as its AR Automation platform. The deployment centralized collections operations for USA, Europe and Central Asia and placed responsibility for all collections and collector staff under a single operating remit, covering management of outstanding receivables, delinquent accounts and past due transactions across all divisions.
Configuration centered on collector queues and documentation workflows, ensuring every collection effort was recorded in assigned collector queues within FIS GETPAID. Functional capabilities implemented included account prioritization for past due balances, activity tracking and queue-based assignment of collectors, alongside establishing collection procedures and structured training. The program included training, coaching, mentoring and hiring of collection staff to improve effective use of FIS GETPAID collection software.
Operational coordination included direct work with the Credit Department on releasing credit hold orders when accounts moved off past due status, and feeding A/R status into executive reporting workflows. Reporting of accounts receivable, cash and credits issued was performed weekly, monthly and quarterly for upper management, while cash forecasting reporting was produced quarterly and updated to upper management weekly. These cadences were executed using GETPAID records and standardized operational processes.
Governance and process restructuring accompanied the rollout, with implementation of internal controls to meet Internal Audit Standards and SOX compliance, and formalized procedures for collector accountability and escalation. Process transformation emphasized documented workflows in GETPAID, standardized collector training, and centralized oversight of collections activities and hiring.
Improvements in the effective use of GETPAID collection software are documented, with emphasis on ensuring all delinquent accounts and past due transactions are updated in the system and that collection efforts are consistently documented. The deployment aligned AR Automation, collections operations and credit release procedures to create a single source of truth for receivables management.
