Musoni Legacy Musoni Core Banking Core Banking ERP Services and Operations ThitsaWorks 2018 2019
In 2018, VisionFund International implemented Musoni Core Banking in Myanmar as the chosen digitalization platform to migrate core finance and client records and to deploy the Musoni Digital Field Application across field operations. The selection framed a program-level initiative to centralize financial ledgers and client master data under a dedicated Core Banking application supporting microfinance workflows. The implementation encompassed configuration of core finance modules, client data models, and loan and savings processing workflows within Musoni Core Banking, plus rollout of the Musoni Digital Field Application for field agents. Standard functional capabilities emphasized account lifecycle management, savings and loan repayment processing, and synchronized field-to-core client record updates to support operational consistency across sites. ThitsaWorks served as the implementation partner coordinating the technical rollout and local adoption, working with regional operations teams in Myanmar. Operational coverage included field staff, loan officers, and central finance teams, aligning client onboarding, collections, and reporting processes under the Core Banking environment. Governance and process changes centralized client record management and standardized loan and savings workflows to enable scale across VisionFund Myanmar. The project reduced operating costs, improved loan and savings processing efficiency, and supported growth of approximately 50,000 additional clients within a year of selection.
