In 2022, Volopay implemented Decentro Flow in a Payment Processing deployment to accelerate finance and expense management operations in India. The rollout targeted vendor payout automation and expense reconciliation within Volopay's finance organization.
The implementation integrated Decentro's API banking and virtual account capabilities to enable faster vendor payouts, virtual cards mapping, and automated reconciliation workflows. Decentro Flow was configured to provision virtual accounts and map those accounts to virtual card transactions, while API calls orchestrated payout initiation and reconciliation posting into Volopay's expense-management processes.
The finance and expense-management implementation went live within weeks and processed approximately INR 65 lakh in the initial eight weeks, improving settlement speed and reducing reconciliation overhead. Operational coverage focused on vendor payouts and expense reconciliation in India, with governance and workflow changes centered on automated matching and settlement procedures.
