The implementation configured Aptean Linkfresh modules for grower accounting workflows, batch and lot level traceability, consignment and inventory management, farm management data capture, and quality inspection and control processes. Configuration emphasized traceability workflows and consignment lifecycle orchestration consistent with Food and Beverage ERP functional expectations. The solution architecture uses Dynamics 365 Business Central as the hosting and extension platform, with Aptean Linkfresh providing industry-specific logic and data models on top of that platform. Operational coverage extends across Montague’s grower, packing, quality assurance, and distribution functions within its Australian fresh produce business. The Aptean Linkfresh implementation binds grower contracts and accounting to consignment handling and quality control processes, enabling end to end visibility across harvest, packing, and distribution workflows. Integrations and data flows were organized to align farming operational data with enterprise accounting and supply chain records, centralizing fresh produce management on the Aptean Linkfresh Food and Beverage ERP stack. Governance and rollout were driven by Dialog Information Technology and Montague operational leadership, with project support focused on configuring industry workflows and embedding traceability and quality processes into day to day operations. Training and process alignment emphasized grower accounting procedures and consignment handling to enforce traceability and quality gates. The deployment was explicitly framed as supporting Montague’s ethos of quality and its ongoing growth needs.
