In 2017 The WD-40 Company implemented interviewstream interview scheduler to centralize Interview Scheduling for recruiting and hiring workflows within the manufacturer’s talent acquisition function. The implementation was targeted at improving manager review and candidate evaluation, enabling consistent hiring decisions based on established criteria across recruiting and hiring teams.
The deployment of interviewstream interview scheduler combined one way video interviews, live video interviews and automated scheduling to reduce back and forth with candidates and increase screening throughput. Configuration emphasized resume and candidate video sharing, reviewer notes capture and structured evaluation workflows, aligning the application to hiring manager scoring and recruiter screening processes.
The interviewstream interview scheduler was integrated with iCIMS to maintain candidate records and the ATS workflow, connecting digital interview artifacts to existing recruitment pipelines. Operational coverage focused on talent acquisition teams and hiring managers across the manufacturing organization, improving coordination between recruiters and line managers.
Governance changes included formalized reviewer note practices and standardized evaluation criteria to support consistent decision making and faster progression of candidates.
