In 2017 The WD-40 Company implemented interviewstream interview scheduler to centralize Interview Scheduling for recruiting and hiring workflows within the manufacturer’s talent acquisition function. The implementation was targeted at improving manager review and candidate evaluation, enabling consistent hiring decisions based on established criteria across recruiting and hiring teams.
The deployment of interviewstream interview scheduler combined one way video interviews, live video interviews and automated scheduling to reduce back and forth with candidates and increase screening throughput. Configuration emphasized resume and candidate video sharing, reviewer notes capture and structured evaluation workflows, aligning the application to hiring manager scoring and recruiter screening processes.
The interviewstream interview scheduler was integrated with iCIMS to maintain candidate records and the ATS workflow, connecting digital interview artifacts to existing recruitment pipelines. Operational coverage focused on talent acquisition teams and hiring managers across the manufacturing organization, improving coordination between recruiters and line managers.
Governance changes included formalized reviewer note practices and standardized evaluation criteria to support consistent decision making and faster progression of candidates. The engagement produced explicit results reported by WD-40, including screening approximately 15 more candidates per job, a two week reduction in time to fill, and a 90 percent improvement in candidate impression, and was cited by the Global Talent Director as streamlining recruitment through shared resumes, videos and evaluations.

| Epicor | Legacy | Epicor Kinetic | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2024 | 2024 |
In 2024, WD-40 implemented Epicor Kinetic as its Manufacturing ERP to consolidate pan-European analytics and support EIMEA revenue growth targets through 2025. The deployment focused on connecting headquarters data for formulation, sales, marketing, IT, and finance with regional commercial reporting while manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution remain executed by third party fillers. Epicor Kinetic Manufacturing ERP is positioned to provide a unified application backbone for product-centric reporting and operational insight across the European Division.
The implementation paired Epicor Kinetic with Epicor Data Analytics powered by Phocas, using EDA as the primary analytics and reporting layer. EDA’s database designer was configured to draw transactional sales and financial data into a single semantic model, enabling measures and dimensions that support director level reporting, sales manager dashboards, and sales rep views. WD-40 used EDA’s built in industry-centric objects to minimize bespoke data modeling work, then applied lightweight presentation customization to tailor dashboards and grids to user roles.
Integration work centered on immediate connectivity between Epicor Kinetic and Epicor Data Analytics, bringing sales and financial streams into unified grids for slicing and dicing by product, channel, customer, and geography. The operational scope targeted Europe and the wider EIMEA region, consolidating disparate country tickets into a combined business view. WD-40’s BI developer from Wisx Ltd collaborated closely with Epicor and the EDA product team to shape dashboards and drive feature requests into the product roadmap.
Governance and workflow changes emphasized common measures and a tiered reporting framework, with cross functional teams agreeing standard metrics for market penetration, product performance, and customer profitability. Reporting ownership was structured by role, with director, manager, and rep level views and automated feeds replacing manual Excel manipulation. The project also established a feedback loop with the EDA user community to prioritize iterative enhancements and widget level customization.
Outcomes reported by WD-40 include a consolidated view of European operations, the ability to measure meaningful metrics across sales and finance, and actionable reporting for market penetration and customer profitability analysis. Epicor Kinetic and Epicor Data Analytics enabled WD-40 to centralize sales, marketing, and finance reporting in one analytics solution, improving the availability of combined sales and financial data to support commercial decision making.

| QPR Software | Legacy | QPR ProcessAnalyzer | Process Mining | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019 WD-40 implemented QPR ProcessAnalyzer as a Process Mining solution to gain fact-based visibility into Sales and Purchasing workflows. The engagement targeted core purchasing and sales process flows where manual steps and automation gaps were creating operational uncertainty, and it focused on surfacing the root causes of rework and process deviations across the company.
QPR ProcessAnalyzer was used to perform event log based process discovery, conformance analysis, and the identification of repetitive tasks and handoff patterns that generated rework. QPR ProcessAnalyzer highlighted how repetitive tasks, purchasing changes, mistakes, and adjustments were creating considerable amount of rework and a negative business impact, a finding attributed to Jonathan McCoy, IT Director at WD-40 Company, and the tool was applied to analyze sales categories to reveal bottlenecks and manual steps.
The implementation concentrated on operational coverage of Purchasing and Sales functions, informing process governance and participant education to reduce risky practices and improve control. Process mining outputs were used to identify better sales models and to design process changes that, as reported by WD-40, contributed to a significant growth in sales volume, while also clarifying sources of rework in purchasing that required process and procedural remediation.
