In 2025 Worcestershire County Council will implement TechnologyOne OneCouncil SaaS ERP. The deployment uses TechnologyOne OneCouncil SaaS ERP in the Government ERP category as a central platform to transform and automate finance and transactional services across the county.
The implementation encompasses TechnologyOne Financials, Supply Chain Management and Enterprise Cash Receipting, with configuration focused on core financial management, procure to pay workflows, cash receipting and budget visibility. TechnologyOne OneCouncil SaaS ERP will be used to provide near real time financial data to optimise management of the council s £1.147m budget and to standardise accounting, supplier management and receipting controls.
The project is being delivered using TechnologyOne s SaaS+ approach, which creates a shared incentive to reach live value and uses a commercial model that does not charge for core implementation services. The SaaS+ structure implies a cloud hosted application footprint with vendor aligned delivery incentives, enabling centrally managed updates and a single application instance to support council wide operations.
Operational coverage is council wide and will be used by employees across departments responsible for finance, procurement, revenue collection and budget management. Governance changes highlighted in planning include centralising financial workflows, tightening procurement controls and automating routine receipting processes to streamline service delivery. Worcestershire s Chief Financial Officer Phil Rook said the partnership will deliver a brand new finance system to streamline services and reduce costs for residents.
