Xtek Technographics
Discover the latest software purchases and digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by Xtek and its business and technology executives. Each quarter our research team identifies on-prem and cloud applications that are being used by the 280 Xtek employees from the public (Press Releases, Customer References, Testimonials, Case Studies and Success Stories) and proprietary sources.
During our research, we have identified that Xtek has purchased the following applications: Bluestar PLM for Product Lifecycle Management in 2021 and the related IT decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Our database provides customer insight and contextual information on which enterprise applications and software systems Xtek is running and its propensity to invest more and deepen its relationship with PDM Technology or identify new suppliers as part of their overall Digital and IT transformation projects to stay competitive, fend off threats from disruptive forces, or comply with internal mandates to improve overall enterprise efficiency.
We have been analyzing Xtek revenues, which have grown to $78.0 million in 2024, plus its IT budget and roadmap, cloud software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions for Xtek intention to invest in emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Autonomous Database or in cloud-based ERP, HCM, CRM, EPM, Procurement or Treasury applications.

In 2021, Xtek implemented Bluestar PLM to unify engineering and ERP data during a migration from AX 2009 to Dynamics 365. The deployment established Bluestar PLM as a cloud Product Lifecycle Management platform to centralize CAD and ERP records and to standardize part numbering, revision control and certification traceability.
Bluestar PLM was configured to ingest CAD data from AutoCAD and SolidWorks and to migrate existing ERP records into a single product data model, enabling controlled BOM and revision workflows. Xtek worked with Bluestar to develop and embed the Aftersales Redesign & Repair module, which automates service BOM generation and formalizes refurbishment workflows, reducing repetitive engineering effort and improving service efficiency.
Integration work focused on synchronized item and BOM data with Dynamics 365 while preserving historical records from AX 2009, positioning Bluestar PLM as the authoritative engineering and product data hub. Operational scope covered engineering and service departments, with functional capabilities implemented for CAD data management, part numbering governance, revision history, certification traceability and service BOM orchestration.
Governance and process changes emphasized enforced part numbering standards and revision control across engineering and aftersales workflows, supported by Bluestar PLM configuration and the Aftersales Redesign & Repair module. The implementation linked Product Lifecycle Management, engineering and service business functions to create a single source of truth for design data and post-sale refurbishment processes.
