In 2019 Mahindra and Mahindra implemented Altair SmartWorks as an IoT Platform to centralize optimal data collection and visualization across product and engineering workflows. In 2018 Transportes Boyaca SL deployed Altair SmartWorks as an IoT Platform to optimize fleet management for its daily newspaper and magazine deliveries across Spain. The implementation addressed the need for direct, real-time information on arrival and departure times at each distribution hub, and it was scoped to support several hundred delivery trucks operating on tightly scheduled routes.
