Asset Value Investors Professional Services 14 $9M United Kingdom Broadridge Broadridge Portfolio Master Portfolio and Investment Management 2013 n/a
In 2013, Asset Value Investors implemented Broadridge Portfolio Master as part of a Paladyne suite deployment in London. Broadridge Portfolio Master is a Portfolio and Investment Management application that was configured to support trading, pre and post trade compliance, portfolio management, and NAV generation. The deployment used Paladyne Analytics Master to back load eight years of historical data, consolidating positions and transactions to centralize firm wide reporting and reconciliation processes. Broadridge Portfolio Master was configured to manage order and trade workflows, execute compliance rules pre and post trade, perform portfolio valuation, and produce NAV calculations as core functional modules. Data consolidation into Paladyne Analytics Master provided a single reconciled reporting source for operations, portfolio management, and compliance teams. Operational coverage targeted the firms UK and EMEA activities, bringing reporting and compliance in house and shifting governance for compliance checks and reporting to centralized control within operations and portfolio management. The implementation reorganized workflows to route trade compliance enforcement and NAV production through the Paladyne platform, aligning trading, compliance, and middle office processes. The configuration emphasized firm level consolidation and workflow orchestration to support reconciled reporting across teams.

The implementation centered on front-to-back processing and intra-day reporting, with Broadridge Portfolio Master used for trade capture and intra-day portfolio valuation. Functional capabilities implemented included consolidated trade capture, real-time P&L calculation, intra-day portfolio reporting and front-to-back workflow orchestration, consistent with typical Portfolio and Investment Management platform capabilities. Governance and operational change emphasized centralized reporting and streamlined front-to-back workflows, moving control of trade capture and intra-day valuation into the hosted environment. The deployment delivered faster straight-through processing and a stated lower total cost of ownership through consolidation on the Paladyne ASP platform, and maintained ING's global portfolio reporting and P&L workflows within the Broadridge Portfolio Master environment.
