Bynx Fleet Management was configured to support finance-facing modules and transaction capture, with explicit specifications and test cases for interfaces that post accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger transactions into SAP ECC6. Project deliverables included documented "to be" business processes and step-by-step work instructions to operationalize fleet finance workflows. The team specified and enforced internal controls across finance processes to meet departmental control requirements.
Integration scope centered on transactional interfaces between Bynx Fleet Management and SAP ECC6, with defined daily and monthly reconciliation requirements for ledger alignment. Operational governance for finance functions was restructured to support outsourcing of select processes to Queensland Shared Services, with scoping and decision workshops and documented service transfers to QSS. Workshops involved QFleet Finance and QSS to align responsibilities and document agreed services and process ownership. Throughout the engagement the team assisted business stakeholders to understand standard system functionality and led the business process changes required to adopt Bynx Fleet Management within departmental finance operations.
