In 2024, BAUKING implemented GuideCom HR Suite as its Core HR application to centralize personnel management for its roughly 4,000 employees. The deployment targeted the corporate HR center in Dortmund and operational HR processes that support approximately 77 specialist retail locations and around 50 hagebaumarkt stores across Germany.
Implementation work focused on core HR capabilities, including employee master data, organizational management, onboarding and offboarding workflows, time and absence management, employee self service and manager self service, and role based HR reporting. GuideCom HR Suite was configured to reflect retail and trade specific personnel processes, with attention to legal compliance and economic constraints, and the system design emphasized a positive employee experience and backend administration for HR specialists. Customization and parameterization included security roles, workflow automation for approvals, and template based communications to support consistent hiring and internal mobility processes.
Rollout governance established a central HR project support function to coordinate key user adoption, on site and remote training, and the creation of operational instructions and knowledge transfer materials for HR, managers and store teams. In 2022, RENOLIT SE deployed the GuideCom HR Suite as a global, centralized HR standard across approximately 30 locations. The GuideCom HR Suite was adopted as the company's Core HR platform to consolidate decentralized HR processes and to standardize employee lifecycle management across sites.
GuideCom HR Suite was configured to enable unified development conversations, structured learning and training through GuideCom Academy, and continuous performance workflows via GuideCom Feedback. In 2023, SCANLAB implemented multiple GuideCom HR Suite apps including the Sextant digital personnel file, Service workflows and the GuideCom Time app to introduce standardized HR processes at its Puchheim site in Germany. The deployment targeted Core HR capability consolidation for onsite HR and operations teams, centralizing personnel records and time capture for manufacturing site workflows.
Configuration work focused on electronic personnel file management with Sextant, case and approval workflows via Service workflows, and clocking and attendance capture through the GuideCom Time app. Standard functional workflows were implemented for personnel record lifecycle management, HR service ticketing and time data collection, aligning system configuration with HR operational requirements.
The project included a bespoke integration between GuideCom Time and PCS time terminals, and terminal integration and rollout were completed at the start of 2024. That bespoke connector handled terminal event ingestion and alignment with GuideCom Time records, enabling more consistent time capture and linking terminal data into HR processes at the Puchheim site.
Governance changes introduced standardized HR process flows across HR and operations, improving transparency of time capture and personnel records. GuideCom HR Suite implementation established Core HR platform capabilities for SCANLAB at Puchheim, with ongoing operational coverage scoped to site HR and manufacturing functions.
