The implementation configured core HRIS, payroll processing, benefits administration, recruitment and staffing workflows, performance evaluation capabilities, compensation and employee relations modules. Infor Lawson QuickStep Healthcare was used to instrument HR metrics, enforce regulatory compliance controls and automate payroll cycles and benefits transactions consistent with Healthcare ERP functionality.
Operational scope included consolidation of three separate HR offices within Appalachian Regional Healthcare System into a centralized HR operation, and support for the newly created physician medical group Appalachian Regional Medical Associates ARMA. The deployment affected HR, payroll, benefits administration, workforce development and employee relations functions and included large scale user training, with over 1,000 employees trained on new processes and tools in a two week timeframe.
