In 2020, Banco de Occidente engaged IPC Systems with local partner Axede and AXD to implement the IPC Blue Wave API as a Collaboration solution to modernize its trading floor across six sites in Colombia. Implementation work began around 2020 and the project was live by mid 2021, supporting continuity of trading operations during the COVID 19 period.
The deployment architecture combined the Unigy platform with the Blue Wave Application Development Platform to expose API driven communications and application orchestration for trading workflows. Functional capabilities implemented included trader productivity tooling, client interaction workflows, API based recording services, recording resilience and dual recording, and business continuity support.
Axede productivity tools were integrated directly into the Blue Wave API environment to align front office workflows with recording and compliance controls, enabling remote trading access and resilience across the six Colombian sites. The scope explicitly covered trading floor communications, recording orchestration, and client interaction channels across multiple locations.
AXD acted as the local systems integrator coordinating configuration, rollout sequencing and cross site orchestration while IPC Blue Wave API provided centralized API management and recording orchestration. In 2022, Interbank Financial Services Poland implemented IPC Blue Wave API as part of an IPC Unigy platform deployment that targeted Collaboration for trading communications and remote connectivity.
