Corsa Coal | Oil, Gas and Chemicals | 345 | $146M | United States | Journyx | Journyx Acumen ShiftVIEW | Time and Attendance | 2014 | n/a |
In 2014, Corsa Coal implemented Journyx Acumen ShiftVIEW to address workforce timekeeping and scheduling requirements. The deployment targeted Time and Attendance processes across operations, aligning employee time capture with manager scheduling and certification tracking.
The implementation used a synchronized package of Acumen products, deploying LaborVIEW for employee time and attendance, ShiftVIEW for employee and manager scheduling, and PutDATA for web-service data replication. LaborVIEW centralized time capture to eliminate redundant data entry and provide visibility into who is doing what, when, and why, while ShiftVIEW enabled flexible multi-shift scheduling and tied certified employees to specific tasks to support mine safety protocols.
PutDATA was configured for real-time replication between the ERP and the LaborVIEW database, reading Shop Order, Inventory, Locations, and Shop Floor data, transporting it, and populating the LaborVIEW database. Automated two-way exchange and scheduled reads and writes took place between the LaborVIEW server, ShiftVIEW, and the ERP system, creating a synchronized data layer for scheduling and time capture.
Operational scope included shop floor and mine scheduling, crew assignments, and certification controls, with process changes to assign employees to tasks based on certification data. The rollout emphasized automation, reducing administrative overhead and increasing scheduling flexibility, and it improved compliance with mine safety protocols while reducing the likelihood of assignment errors.

National Maintenance & Repair | Professional Services | 100 | $15M | United States | Journyx | Journyx Acumen ShiftVIEW | Time and Attendance | 2015 | n/a |
In 2015 National Maintenance & Repair deployed Journyx Acumen ShiftVIEW as its Time and Attendance application to centralize hourly employee time capture and shift scheduling across field maintenance operations. Journyx Acumen ShiftVIEW was provisioned to support core time capture and scheduling needs for the company, aligning with the organization chart and billing cadence used for monthly customer invoicing.
Configuration focused on standard Time and Attendance capabilities including electronic time capture, shift assignments, supervisor approval workflows, and allocation of labor to jobs for cost tracking. The implementation reflected existing administrative practices where clerical staff performed heavy daily data entry and historically used Clockview for daily input of hourly employee time, and it translated those manual job costing inputs into structured time and attendance records within Journyx Acumen ShiftVIEW.
Operational coverage included hourly crews and office functions tied to Hull Repair and Maint. department activities, procurement support, and the billing process for monthly invoices. Governance emphasized time entry workflows and approval routing to ensure time records fed job costing and purchase order status reporting used by management, while configuration preserved the linkage between time worked and customer invoicing processes.

TransPak | Manufacturing | 3000 | $700M | United States | Journyx | Journyx Acumen ShiftVIEW | Time and Attendance | 2015 | n/a |
In 2015, TransPak implemented Journyx Acumen ShiftVIEW as its Time and Attendance system. The deployment targeted workforce time capture and scheduling across a 1500 employee footprint spanning the United States, Mexico and Asia.

The implementation team authored two dozen statements of work and technical specifications to guide design enhancements, extensions and reporting for the Acumen ClockView environment.
Operational governance leveraged existing enterprise application administration practices, including a post go live administrator role for the US Sage X3 ERP system and administration of Sage Enterprise Intelligence for data mining and reporting. Configuration activities focused on defining user roles and function profiles, security, ongoing testing, support and performance management for manufacturing and payroll user communities.
Data migration work for adjacent ERP initiatives used scripted ETL methods, specifically Visual Basic scripts, to convert Accounting, Inventory, Customer and Supplier data sets into Sage X3 ERP over a two year program. Rollout governance emphasized formal SOW driven change control, trainer led adoption for managers and payroll, and sustained post go live administrative support.
