In 2003, Abcfinance Germany implemented NAVAX Contract Management as part of NAVAX Software's HENRI platform, establishing a Contract Lifecycle Management foundation for its leasing and factoring business in Germany. In 2020 NAVAX Software, via afb Application Services, implemented NAVAX Contract Management for Ostsaechsische Sparkasse Dresden to provide an end to end retail finance and contract management capability. The deployment targeted point of sale financing workflows and is categorized as Contract Lifecycle Management, aligning contract orchestration with retail lending operations for manufacturers, dealers and customers.
NAVAX Contract Management was configured to support contract origination, workflow based approvals, automated document generation and lifecycle tracking typical of Contract Lifecycle Management systems. The implementation emphasized configuration for retail finance use cases, including credit decision support integration points, contract settlement orchestration and operational dashboards for lending operations and branch sales teams.
The solution was integrated with the OSPlus core banking system to enable end to end flow of contract and funding data between the contract management layer and banking ledgers. The rollout was delivered by NAVAX Software with afb Application Services and went live in March 2021 in Germany, initially covering pilot banks and point of sale channels for manufacturers and dealers.
Governance for the program followed a vendor led configuration and pilot rollout model, with operational ownership placed in retail finance, dealer relations and branch operations to manage contract lifecycle workflows and exception handling. Early results reported by the vendors indicated improved time to cash and about a 10% increase in point of sale financing volume for the pilot banks.
