First Orion | Communications | 300 | $30M | United States | NetNumber | NetNumber TITAN | Listing Management | 2016 | n/a | In 2016, First Orion implemented NetNumber TITAN as part of a Listing Management architecture to support real-time call identity and fraud mitigation workflows. The implementation established a listing services layer that underpins First Orion's call printing and fraud detection processing. Engineering led the design and build of a real-time Call Printing System and a SIP metadata summarization layer called FONES Connect, providing in-flight call metadata aggregation to enable fraud detection and prevention. The platform architecture emphasizes low-latency messaging and efficient serialization using ZeroMQ and Google Protocol Buffers, combined with multi-threading and both UDP and TCP network protocols to maintain high throughput. Functional capabilities implemented include SIP real-time metadata capture, call summarization for downstream analysis, and a streaming pipeline tuned for minimal processing delay. The runtime interfaces directly with NetNumber TITAN to resolve listing and caller identity queries and to feed call printing outputs into the network. The production system has been live since October 2018 and processes over 250 million calls per day with an average latency of less than 1 millisecond. Operational coverage includes in-carrier metadata capture for T-Mobile traffic and real-time streaming into First Orion's fraud prevention workflows. First Orion managed a dedicated development team responsible for architecture design, software development, testing and support, with a principal architect driving FONES Connect specifications and delivery. Governance focused on operational supportability and low-latency engineering practices during rollout and ongoing operations.

KORE Wireless | Communications | 614 | $248M | United States | NetNumber | NetNumber TITAN | Listing Management | 2019 | n/a | In 2019, KORE Wireless selected NetNumber TITAN to expand its as a service mobile access, applications and connectivity infrastructure. KORE Wireless implemented NetNumber TITAN as Listing Management to centralize subscriber data management and signaling control for its IoT, MVNO and corporate mobile service offerings. The implementation deployed NetNumber TITAN with the HSS and HLR subscriber data management applications to enable 4G data and VoLTE services and to support large scale IoT device connectivity. NetNumber TITAN delivered these SDM functions as software components rather than hardware appliances, enabling a virtualized environment that can scale up and down based on transaction volumes and support both human and device subscribers. Architecturally the NetNumber TITAN platform provided a common virtualized infrastructure for signaling control, routing policy enforcement and subscriber database services, using centralized provisioning and a distributed in memory database replication method so signal processing can occur at optimal network locations. Integrating additional NetNumber portfolio applications onto the platform was achieved via a software download model, preserving a single software defined control plane for subscriber and signaling functions. Operational coverage targeted KORE Wireless as a provider of as a service connectivity, supporting 2G and 3G legacy technologies as well as 4G and 5G networks, and addressing business functions across connectivity operations, subscriber lifecycle management and service delivery for IoT and mobile customers. Governance shifted toward centralized provisioning and management workflows, simplifying core network orchestration and consolidating multiple network functions into a unified virtualized stack. KORE Wireless adopted NetNumber TITAN Listing Management to pursue a scalable, software based subscriber management architecture that supports growth and diverse service requirements. The vendor stated outcomes included simplified network core operations, the ability to scale with transaction volumes, enhanced signaling security protections and a CAPEX efficient path to add new network functions through software updates.

Pareteum | Communications | 200 | $69M | United States | NetNumber | NetNumber TITAN | Listing Management | 2018 | n/a | In 2018 Pareteum selected NetNumber TITAN as its Centralized Signaling and Routing Control CSRC platform to provide Listing Management capabilities for its mobile Cloud Communications Platform. The NetNumber TITAN deployment was provisioned into Pareteum's virtual environment on Amazon Web Services to support its enterprise mobile SaaS, IoT and M2M traffic within the carrier-facing core network. The implementation configured NetNumber TITAN with STP, DSC and Diameter applications, along with SIP support and virtualized firewall security as software-based network functions. TITAN provided centralized signaling control, routing policy enforcement and subscriber database services in a common virtualized infrastructure, and was implemented to scale up and down based on transaction volumes. Integration work focused on connecting the NetNumber TITAN platform to Pareteum's network management environment so all signaling, routing and subscriber functions could be managed centrally. The platform was positioned to enable interoperability across SS7 and next-generation networks, allowing services to operate across both existing circuit-switched and IP-based domains during the migration to next-generation architectures. Governance and operational intent emphasized mixing and matching virtual network functions as required and adding capabilities as new services are introduced. Pareteum cited central management of network functions and customers leading to operational cost savings, and NetNumber TITAN was presented as a future-proof architecture that supports growth and maximizes CAPEX investment. |
