In 2017, Air Water implemented NTT DATA Biz Project-Space as part of its Project Portfolio Management rollout within a broader next core system initiative. Architecture used a private cloud model with applications hosted in domestic data centers and connected from each business base, and implementation work included constructing interfaces and system infrastructure to integrate with existing site systems. NTT DATA and NTT DATA BizIntegral led the software sales, configuration and integration efforts for the next core system, and the deployment included templates and standardization artifacts to speed group rollouts.
Governance and process work focused on standardizing business rules across group companies, establishing KPIs and a management cycle for timely profit and loss visibility, and accelerating monthly closing and decision making. In 2018, Naikai Zosen Corporation implemented NTT DATA Biz Project-Space in Japan to address shipbuilding specific project accounting, cost allocation and revenue recognition under the percentage of completion method.
