In 2016, AXA UK implemented Oracle Incentive Compensation as part of its Oracle Cloud Fusion HRIS deployments and a coordinated HR transformation program. The work targeted Incentive Compensation Management to centralize compensation, reward and incentive administration across HR, Reward, Talent and Payroll functions within the country program and align with a global deployment roadmap managed by the group PMO.
Oracle Incentive Compensation was configured alongside compensation and comp and benefits capabilities within the broader Oracle HCM suite, and integrated functionally with Performance and Talent workflows, Workforce Administration and analytics. Governance was centralized through a Group PMO that defined global governance, reporting and risk management, and provided regular reporting into country Executive Steering Committees and HR leadership teams. Delivery was matrix managed with implementers Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys and AXA technology teams, and execution included strong involvement from Global Process Owners, data privacy officers and data security teams to ensure compliance with GDPR and local data requirements.
The AXA UK effort coincided with PeopleSoft decommissioning activities and the wider Oracle Fusion HCM suite deployments, and the program restructure drove an efficiency initiative that delivered savings in excess of €8M at group level. AXA UK program management responsibilities included recovery of the Oracle HCM Cloud program, oversight of HR shared services and centres of expertise implementation, and management of global deployment sequencing for Incentive Compensation Management.
