Blendwell Food Group Netherlands | Consumer Packaged Goods | 300 | $90M | Netherlands | RELEX Solutions | RELEX S&OP | S&OP | 2022 | Supply Chain Company |
In 2022, Blendwell Food Group Netherlands implemented RELEX S&OP to replace spreadsheet-based forecasting and deploy integrated demand forecasting and supply-side optimization across its European operations. The deployment centralized S&OP planning workflows and introduced RELEX S&OP as the core application for demand orchestration and supply-side scenario planning.
The implementation delivered core demand forecasting and supply-side optimization capabilities, including automated forecast generation, consolidated master data for demand inputs, and decision support for supply planning. RELEX S&OP was configured to support collaborative S&OP cycles, aligning demand signals with supply constraints and planning assumptions.
The scope covered European operations and touched demand planning, supply chain planning, and commercial operations, with the platform intended to replace spreadsheet-driven processes and provide a single source of forecast truth. Integrations emphasized operationalizing forecast outputs into supply-side optimization workflows and supporting cross-functional S&OP meetings.
The project was run with RELEX partner Supply Chain Company starting in February 2022 and delivered the demand forecasting and supply chain optimization capabilities described in the case study. Blendwell reported a 5–10% uplift in forecast accuracy and customer service levels following the RELEX S&OP deployment, reflecting the programmatic shift from spreadsheets to an integrated S&OP application.

Bubbies Homemade Ice Cream | Leisure and Hospitality | 10 | $1M | United States | RELEX Solutions | RELEX S&OP | S&OP | 2021 | n/a |
In 2021, Bubbies Homemade Ice Cream implemented RELEX S&OP in the S&OP category, deploying the application in the United States to centralize planning for the small leisure and hospitality producer. The deployment timeline ran to a 4 to 5 month rollout, establishing RELEX S&OP as the primary platform for coordinated planning across the business.
The implementation configured RELEX S&OP with demand planning, production planning and inventory management modules, and it explicitly linked financial plans to demand forecasts to enable S&OP-led decision making. RELEX S&OP was set up to support scenario-based forecast adjustments, production scheduling inputs and inventory replenishment logic consistent with S&OP workflows.
Operational coverage focused on aligning finance, sales and operations teams in the US, moving planning activities away from spreadsheet-based processes and into the RELEX S&OP environment. Integration scope centered on surfacing financial plan inputs alongside demand forecasts to drive consolidated S&OP review cycles and planning transparency across functions.
Governance shifted toward an S&OP-led cadence, with workflows and review gates designed to operationalize the linked financial and demand plans. The implementation reduced planning effort and enabled decision making driven by the RELEX S&OP configuration and the aligned finance, sales and operations processes.

Fressnapf Holding | Retail | 12000 | $3.8B | Germany | RELEX Solutions | RELEX S&OP | S&OP | 2023 | infiniteVIU |
In 2023 Fressnapf Holding implemented RELEX S&OP, a S&OP application from RELEX Solutions, to integrate planning across its retail and wholesale operations. The deployment targets the Fressnapf Group footprint of 1,900 stores and 11 distribution centers across 13 countries and is being implemented by systems integrator infiniteVIU.
The RELEX S&OP implementation centers on digital twin modelling and scenario planning capabilities to support a flexible Sales and Operations Planning process, with configuration focused on DC level forecasting and automated order proposal generation. Functional capabilities explicitly included are delivery flow smoothing, capacity management, enhanced supplier collaboration, and agile replenishment, and the design anticipates future integration of RELEX space planning without a separate tool.
Operationally the solution interweaves supply chain planning for both wholesale and retail, providing transparent insight into retail and wholesale performance and enabling end to end visibility across inventory and replenishment workflows. The architecture emphasizes unified demand and supply signals across stores and distribution centers, with the RELEX S&OP application serving as the central planning engine for order proposals and scenario analysis.
Governance changes described in the rollout include establishing a flexible S&OP process to coordinate capacity and resource planning across supply chain, logistics, procurement, and merchandising teams. infiniteVIU is responsible for implementation services and for configuring the solution to support cross functional collaboration and ongoing scenario driven planning.
Explicit outcomes stated by the customer and vendor include improved accuracy of order proposals and forecasts at the distribution center level and enhanced end to end visibility across the supply chain, supporting Fressnapf in ensuring product availability for customers and pets. The implementation therefore aligns RELEX S&OP with operational planning and capacity management needs while preserving the option to extend planning coverage into space planning in the future.
